This type of lacing is well suited for joining leather,rubber or canvas belt from 1/8" to 5/32" or 3--4mm in thickness.

The lacing is supplied in pieces of 190mm in length,and may be readily parted into shorter lengths as required.It is advisable that the length of lacing applied should be a little shorter than the width of the belt.

Both ends of the belt should be cut perfectly square.On lacing the belt,drive in by means of a hammer the prongs first

at the sides and then gradually to wards the center.Be sure that the lacings on the opposite,belt ends are engaged smoothly with each other.Slip finally apair of rocker pins back to back into the lacing to serveas a hinge.The side of the lacing without cross bar should run nest to the pulley.
